  • HOW YOU WORK

    • Help shape & implement the @KennethCole social media strategy in close partnership with key stakeholders across the Company
    • Partner cross-functionally with all departments to align on social media objectives and product priorities (ecomm, CSR, PR, and the design teams)
    • Develop social media plans to support relevant events, initiatives and platforms that KC supports
    • Own the social media content calendar, including collecting inputs from cross-functional teams, and partnering with our Creative team to plan content
    • Manage all KC social media channels, including publishing content and actively monitoring/ moderating/engaging in conversations
    • Support Creative & Production team with social media shoots (planning, samples, props, etc.)
    • Attend and cover brand events on KC social media channels (priority channel: Instagram Story)
    • Manage influencer marketing campaigns—including outreach, contract development, and execution of deliverables
    • Manage paid social media advertising (across Facebook & Instagram) in partnership with our agency, including ad creative and targeting strategy, and identifying opportunities for optimization against KPIs
    • Collaborate with global teams to establish & grow social media presence in international markets
    • Own weekly & monthly social media reports analyzing performance against KPIs and identifying opportunities for optimization
    • Own competitive reports analyzing social activity of competitor brands and first-movers in the space
    • Identify emerging trends in the social media space and opportunities to harness those trends to support @Kennethcole social presence
    • Encourage adoption of relevant social media techniques into the corporate culture and into the Company’s products and services

    HOW THE JOB WORKS

    We’re looking for a passionate, creative, social media-savvy individual to manage Kenneth Cole’s (@kennethcole) social media communities across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Snapchat, G+ (as well as identify new opportunities to build presence across other channels).  This person will support the Social Media team in developing social media plans & content calendars, analyzing performance, and managing the KC social media communities.

    HOW YOUR PAST WORKS FOR US (required)

    • 2-3 years of experience in social media community management and calendar planning
    • Experience with paid social advertising platforms, formats, and execution
    • Experience covering live events via social media
    • Exhibits an in-depth understanding of social media landscape, best practices, and platforms including platform features, management, metrics, content requirements, and trends
    • 24/7 social media “listener,” with a constant pulse on relevant conversation topics & trends
    • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
    • Collaborative team member and relationship builder
