• Stock Associate

    Job Location US-NY-New York

    • Achieves Goals: store sales, ADT, UPT, SPH, payroll, and inventory
    • Manage controllable expenses on store Profit and Loss Statement: supplies, shipping
    • Ensure the Customer Service Mission Statement is executed consistently and personally leads by example
    • Ensure accuracy of Company in store promotions and merchandise markdowns
    • Manage inventory shipping and receiving procedures
    • Maintain standards of cleanliness and organization of the stockroom
    • Analyze reports, communicate appropriate information to business partners to maximize business opportunities and improve store profit
    • Process transfers and damages accurately and efficiently
    • Process charge sends and maintain UPS book as per company policy
    • Maintain supplies and notify management of supply needs
    • Complies with all Company direction on merchandise presentation
    • Assist in implementation of Store Events
    • Develops Operational Support and Selling Support Associates to ensure manpower succession
    • Maintains Company merchandise presentation and marketing standards
    • Participate in inventory preparation and execution
    • Assist on sales floor when needed
    • Identify, communicate to management and resolve store maintenance issues
    • Assist in maintaining store and staff safety
    • Assist and attend all store meetings
    • Work with all associates in the store to maintain a professional and productive work environment
    • Adheres to all Company Policies and Procedures
    • Adheres to all local, state and federal laws
    • Professionally interacts with District, Regional Managers and Corporate Human Resources


    Assist team in all functions regarding the back of house: product flow, price accuracy and shortage reduction to ensure maximum profitability and compliance with company procedures, which will enable the store to meet and exceed the sales goals.

    • Minimum 1 - 3 years previous retail Stock Manager experience (external)
    • Previous apparel and footwear experience
    • Minimum of 1 year experience as an Operational Support Associate (internal)
    • Proven track record of successfully managing controllable expenses of store operation; merchandise markdowns, shipping and receiving, stockroom organization and inventory management
    • Proficient computer experience with Word, Excel and Microsoft Outlook
    • College Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Ability to communicate with co-workers and customers
    • Ability to read, count and write to accurately complete all documentation and analyze reports
    • Ability to perform fundamental mathematical calculations
    • Ability to freely access all areas of the store including selling floor, windows, stock area and register area
    • Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to run the store
    • Ability to climb ladders or stairs (depending upon store design)
    • Ability to move or handle merchandise and boxes throughout the store generally weighing 0 – 40 pounds
    • Ability to work varied hours and days to oversee store operations
    • Standing, walking, squatting the majority of the work week
