  • HOW YOU WORK

    • Achieve quarterly and annual sales and margin goals
    • Cultivate new accounts and opportunities to expand business with existing accounts
    • Manage profitability and drive sell-through with key accounts; track weekly wholesale and retail sales, analyze stock levels, devise strategies and make recommendations to customers and internal partners regarding markdowns and orders/reorders
    • Perform daily review of shipments for each account; partner with customer service and coordinate with production to secure and ensure timely fulfillment of all orders
    • Conduct regular visits/business review meetings with key accounts in order to drive sales
    • Collaboratively work with design and merchandising to ensure appropriate assortments for each market that deliver sales growth
    • Set market/trade show appointments and sell the collection; provide buyers with strong feedback and direction on collections and trends
    • Work with accounts to communicate and execute brand positioning and key strategic initiatives for brand
    • Be knowledgeable about market and competitor performance and trends
    • Independently manage territory, travel schedule and expenses

    HOW THE JOB WORKS

    The Account Executive contributes to and executes strategies set by the Vice President of Sales in order to maximize sales and margins, support and promote the brand, and maintain optimal relationships with customers.

    HOW YOUR PAST WORKS FOR US (required)

    • 3+ years of wholesale sales experience in ladies footwear, preferably fashion and luxury industries
    • Highly motivated with an entrepreneurial passion
    • Proven ability to drive sales and profitability of an account
    • Strong analytical skills and fluent in retail math; ability to evaluate financial indicators and translate understanding of data into actionable information to drive results
    • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; highly detailed oriented and meticulous
    • Excellent communications skills; verbal, written and presentation
    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Knowledge of and experience with E-commerce
    • Proficient in MS office; strong Excel skills
    • Able to travel frequently and work autonomously
