• Art Director, Brand

    Job Location US-NY-New York

    • Conceptualize, develop, and execute ad campaigns and seasonal collection launches including research and presentation of concept and location swipe, casting for models, design and sketch of composition, and set design
    • Work with Global Creative Director on finalizing concept approvals
    • Execute on direction provided regarding development of final layouts and color, reviewing retouching rounds and approving/reviewing all mechanicals
    • Art direct photo shoots, working closely with the photographer, stylist, crew, producer and models in proper execution of shoot concept
    • Layout, design and manage creative process for collateral marketing materials including direct mail/catalogs, logos, invitations, in store signage, marketing/corporate presentations, packaging and other promotional materials
    • Partner with internal team(s) to ensure project completion in accordance with brand specifications
    • Oversee retouching rounds, direct and markup imagery as needed
    • Explore and present ideas, mockups, and renderings for product packaging
    • Develop logo and other brand identity assets as requested
    • Partner in developing video/digital concepts as they relate to the brand; develop storyboards, sketches, etc.
    • Interface with internal corporate department Merchandising & Design, Marketing & PR, and Retail & Wholesale (domestic and international)
    • Manage multiple complex projects on time and on budget


    You will be responsible for the creative development of advertising concepts, marketing initiatives, packaging, logos, and branding initiatives. This role will contribute to the maintenance and development of the brand and design standards both domestically and internationally. The Senior Art Director will partner with the copy, photography, and other internal teams to elevate the brand experience, ultimately driving consumer loyalty.


    • 4-year degree in the field of Advertising/Marketing, Arts, Fashion, Design, Photography and/or equivalent professional experience
    • 5+ years of experience as an Art Director in an agency, studio, production company, fashion brand or retail company
    • Strong POV and knowledge of creative talent, agencies, fashion brands and other designers
    • Keen eye for clean design and execute tactical direction both flawlessly and efficiently
    • Strong workflow management and communication skills as well as demonstrated success collaborating with multi-functional teams
    • Full understanding of the creative, photographic and digital processes as they relate to photo shoot and video production
    • Basic knowledge of post-production and retouching processes
    • Ability to think conceptually and design aesthetically, translating creative direction into visual references
    • Working knowledge pertaining to location and studio scouting as well as industry resources
    • Working understanding of both digital and print advertising in all facets and stages of development
    • Work collaboratively and constructively on each project with others on the team as well as identify team members’ training and development needs and enable them to excel in growth areas
    • Experience working with and managing large budgets
    • Team oriented, self motivated, and an exceptional communicator
    • Proficient in Adobe Suite
    • Strong type and layout skills
    • Fashion advertising background as well as marketing experience with in-store, digital/web and consumer facing multi-media a plus
    • Packaging development experience a plus
