ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: (Includes but are not limited to)

  • Achieve and exceed Goals: personal sales, Average Dollar per Transactions (ADT), Units per Transactions (UPT) and Sales per Hour (SPH)
  • Engagement with the customer in accordance with the customer service mission statement standards
  • Effectively demonstrates and adheres to all Company initiatives: ACT Training, Footwear Selling Program, Target Shrink Program, Manager on Duty (MOD), Area of Responsibility (AOR), Clientele Program, Dress Code
  • Analyze reports (Sell Through), communicate appropriate information to business partners to maximize business opportunities and improve store profit
  • Adhere to Clocking in/out procedures
  • Process all Point of Sale (POS) transactions accurately and efficiently (see Transaction Support Job Description for specific responsibilities)
  • Process all returns and exchanges professionally
  • Follow up with customer charge sends, repairs and holds
  • Maintains Company merchandise presentation and marketing standards
  • Ensure accuracy of Company in store promotions and merchandise markdowns
  • Maintain standards of cleanliness and organization
  • Maintain store and staff safety
  • Attend all store meetings
  • Assist in inventory preparation and execution
  • Work with all associates in the store to maintain a professional and productive work environment
  • Adheres to all Company Policy and Procedures
  • Adheres to all local, state and federal laws
  • Professionally interacts with all levels of Management and Corporate Human Resources

Skills and Requirements


  • Ability to communicate with co-workers and customers
  • Ability to read, count and write to accurately complete all documentation and reports
  • Ability to perform fundamental mathematical calculations
  • Ability to freely access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock area and register area
  • Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to run the store
  • Ability to climb ladders or stairs (depending upon store design)
  • Ability to move or handle merchandise and boxes throughout the store generally weighing 0 – 40 pounds
  • Ability to work varied hours: nights, days and weekends to support the business needs
  • Standing, walking, squatting the majority of the work week

  • Minimum of 2 years previous customer service experience (high end retail preferred)
  • Loyal customer base or experience with Clienteling (preferred)
