Senior Manager, Amazon - Ecommerce

The Amazon Senior Manager will be responsible for driving Kenneth Cole Footwear commerce on Amazon.com.  This leader will develop marketing and merchandising strategies to generate sales and receipts for both men’s and women’s footwear.  This leader will have deep knowledge of the Amazon tool set, and apply their knowledge towards successful strategy and execution on Amazon.com to grow the Kenneth Cole business.

  • This position will collaborate with wholesale sales, planning, and finance to drive merchandising strategies that align with Amazons merchandising mantra.
  • Develop analytic framework to assess and drive the business; inclusive of reporting, ROI measurement, PnL management, sales forecasts, Calendar, test and learn, etc.
  • Strategize, execute, and optimize AMS/AMG campaigns to build product awareness/ranking, drive sales, receipts, and ROI.
  • Facilitate Amazon Vine program strategies and execution, collaborating internally and externally to drive product reviews and product awareness.
  • Oversee and assist product setup in the Amazon platform, from buy handoff.
  • Setup A+ detail pages for key/all KC product sold on Amazon.com – to drive product ranking.
  • Collaborate with Kenneth Cole Media team on any AMG media buys or opportunities.
  • Measure and monitor amazon marketing tools effectiveness, and communicate to the team wins and opportunities.
  • Regularly report on performance, insights, optimizations, to multiple levels within the Kenneth Cole organization.
  • Own the Vendor Central accounts, and partner internally to address opportunities and issues.
  • Develop relationships with the Amazon team to further understand new initiatives, and strategy shifts within the Amazon organization.

 

Skills and Requirements

  • 6-10 years E-Commerce Marketing experience, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience with the Amazon platform and Vendor Central.
  • Must have experience with AMS and winning AMS strategies
  • Successful team management
  • Product selling, Margin, and PnL management in the past.
  • BA/BS degree in business, marketing, or related field.
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize and reprioritize as needed.
  • Extreme attention to detail.
  • Work as a strong conduit between e-commerce, wholesale, and creative.
  • Communication – effective listening, speaking, and writing
  • Effective analytical/problem solving and research skills.
  • Self-motivated, collaborative and eager to succeed.
