Responsible for overseeing all email marketing efforts that support the online business for KennethCole.com reporting into the Director of Performance Digital Marketing. The Email Marketing Manager will manage the email brief process, review creative, QA emails, and implement segmentations strategies to optimize performance. This will include creating briefs for the creative team to develop emails concepts around ideas, developing segmentation strategies and lists, and analyzing and reporting on results. This candidate should be accustomed to partnering with digital marketing agencies to manage campaigns. Additionally, this role has the opportunity to work on supporting Kenneth Cole’s other digital marketing channels.

  • Plan, execute, and optimize campaigns for email in partnership with the Director.
  • Measure and report performance of email campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
  • Develop email marketing campaigns and segmentation strategies ideas to drive targeted traffic to the site.
  • Partner with creative team and merchandising to create emails that best convey the brand DNA while driving key products
  • Manage monthly marketing promotional calendar and convey all updates to team members and external agencies.
  • Create, measure and provide key insights for online campaign using excel and online dashboards
  • Identify trends and insights and optimize spend to drive performance
  • Summarize findings in written and verbal reports.
  • Brainstorm new creative strategies for acquiring email addresses and driving the best performance for each email send.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on key deliverables and asset management
  • Collaborate with agencies and other partners to manage campaigns
  • Building, managing and maintaining reports to track KPIs

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field.
  • 4+ years of online marketing experience, CRM experience a strong plus
  • Proven history developing and managing strategies and campaigns to grow the email marketing channel and ultimately drive sales for the business.
  • Experience using analytics tools and excel with the ability to tweak marketing strategies based on findings.
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize and reprioritize as needed.
  • Extreme attention to detail.
  • High level understanding of online marketing reporting and analytics  
  • Passion for the consumer, ensuring a best in class user experience.
  • Work as a strong conduit between, marketing, operations, and ecommerce.
  • Communication – effective listening, speaking, and writing (customer service oriented)
  • Effective analytical/problem solving and research skills.
